Myrtle Beach Travel Park has been a popular campground for visitors year after year. It’s located in the Northern section of Myrtle Beach along half a mile of the beautiful beach and is celebrating its 52nd anniversary.  

The campground covers 125 acres with plenty of space along the beach and a 17-acre lake. They offer full hookup options as well as sites with just water and electric. Myrtle Beach Travel Park also offers Ocean Villa and Lake View Cabin rentals as well as 35’ Travel Trailer rentals.

The events calendar at Myrtle Beach Travel Park is packed full of fun activities and annual events. Join them every Sunday for a Worship Service or take part in their family games that are sure to make you laugh. Other events include Pool Parties, Family Karaoke, Live Music, Magic Shows, Barrel Train Rides and Aqua Fitness.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park has nearly everything you can think of to make the perfect vacation for you and your family. Enjoy the outdoor pool, indoor pool, lazy river and the fun splash zone for the kids. The Kayak Shack offers great rentals on kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards for even more fun on the water.

If you want to keep busy there is a horseshoe pit, freshwater lake for fishing, playground, beach volleyball and a basketball court. Grab breakfast at the on-site restaurant or a snack at the Arcade and Snack Bar.

Other popular features at the park include laundry facilities, climate-controlled bath houses, a camp store with a gift shop, picnic tables and even covered shelter at the beach campsites.

Shelbi Ankiewicz is a senior at Coastal Carolina University studying communication, journalism, and intercultural studies. She is originally from Montgomery, Alabama, but has resided in Myrtle Beach for 14 years. She is the Editor-in-Chief of CCU's student newspaper, The Chanticleer, and is a member of a two-year leadership program called the Wall Fellows.
