Fun, friendly and just a stone's throw from the beach, boardwalk and downtown strip. GSB is known for a great selection of brews including like Wingtip Pilsner, Airbrush Hazy IPA, Sandy Cheeks IPA. They also have fun options like Conway Coffee Ale, Jolene Red and Atalaya Imperial Stout. GSB also does its burgers right — start with two smashed beef patties, topped with pickles, American cheese, sauteed onion and a special recipe Keg Sauce. Go enjoy all this downtown brewery has to offer.

A great upscale pub atmosphere serving Southern comfort food with a creative twist. They have a seasonal rotating taps offering brews from all over South Carolina and serve up great options like flights of craft brews, flights of whiskey and some tasty charcuterie boards. There's also a patio with games and a uniquely elevated outdoor area.

Tidal Creek is one of the area's best local breweries and truly does it all. Not only do they have more than a dozen taps filled with handcrafted brews spanning every style from Pilsners, Ales and Lagers to Porters, Stouts and Sours — they even brew their own house Seltzer — they also have amazing food all day, great coffee and tons of things going on. There's tons to choose from, but we'd suggest trying their popular Brunch and sampling a Libertore Italian Pilsner, named after the brewery's owner.

Known to most as one of the best waterfront hangouts in Myrtle Beach, The Boathouse Waterway Bar & Grill has become a local's favorite thanks to it's great backyard, free concerts and a love of craft brews. In fact, the Boathouse crew got so into the craft beer scene that in 2019 they decided to open their own brewery called Independent Republic Brewing Company, which now supplements the bar's already impressive selection of local and regional beers on tap.

Located about 20 minutes inland from The Beach, you'll find the quaint historic rivertown of Conway, S.C., known for it's array of unique downtown shopping options, a thriving arts & mural scene and several great stops for craft brews. Make a day out of exploring downtown and hop from long-running spots like The Crafty Rooster — one of the area's original craft brew centric bars with an amazing selection — as well as newer additions like Hop N Wich, a great spot for sandwiches and craft brews. Then walk the riverwalk and stop by Bonfire, a unique southern BBQ restaurant that serves up several local and regional selections across it's taps.

Located south in the charming town of Pawleys Island, this unique spot is a hidden gem for craft beer enthusiasts. Try a small samples of tons of different options or enjoy full pints of your favorite brews — the choice is up to you!
