Are you ready to get out and adventure around the Grand Strand? Then, plan your own "Active Adventure" day in Myrtle Beach! Aside from enjoying the splendor of our white sandy beaches, there is a myriad of fantastic vacation activities to engage in while you are visiting. The Beach is known for its warm weather and long summer days, so you can pack in all the family-fun. Here are a few ideas.

You can go cycling on one of our designated bike trails or play mini-golf at one of the dozens of diverse family-themed miniature golf courses up and down our 60 miles of coastline. Be sure to take advantage of over 90 premier 18-hole golf courses like Legends or Litchfield Plantation; go pier or charter fishing in Murrells Inlet or Little River. Ride a go-cart at Broadway Grand Prix; or revel in the abundant wildlife at the Waccatee Zoo. Learn to ride a Segway in the park at The Market Common with Myrtle Beach Segway; or take the kids to a terrific museum such as the EdVenture Children's Museum.

Your family will designate you the 'Captain of Fun' for taking them on a dolphin watchjet ski tour or banana boat ride, where you can enjoy speeds up to 45 mph in the ocean splash. The kids will revel in Myrtle Waves Water Park park with speed slides, tube slides the Flowrider, and a kid's play area -- always a great way to cool off!

Get out and explore the scenery! Step back in time on a Lowcountry Plantation Tour, or stroll through the very best of South Carolina flora and fauna to witness the beauty of our natural, lowcountry scenery at Brookgreen Gardens.

In the late afternoon, take in a delicious dinner and action-filled show at Medieval Times or Pirates Voyage. Another option is to head out to the ballpark for minor league baseball with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and be sure to enjoy fireworks after the game!

Later in the evening, experience the endless opportunity for live entertainment at the House of Blues or The Carolina Opry, both bringing visitors only the best in national recording artists and shows. For late-night action, make your own legendary evening out dancing at one of the many nightclubs at Broadway at the Beach or restaurants along the MarshWalk offering live music almost every night!

Pro Tip: Many of these attractions and theaters offer special deals listed on our website that make it even easier to enjoy everything at The Beach! Book your trip today.
