Myrtle Beach Hotels with One of A Kind Amenities

Ocean Escape Condos: Worry-Free Booking Guarantee! Photo

As one of the top destinations on the east coast, its no surprise that the Grand Strand has a wide variety of hotel options. In fact, we have so many hotels (Fun fact: we have more hotel rooms than Las Vegas) that it can be a challenge to figure out which is best for your family.

To help settle your decision, we’ve sought out our favorite Myrtle Beach hotels with unique amenities that can be tailored toward any type of travel whether you’re taking a trip with your family, partner, or friends!

We hope you will love these spots with different on-site waterparks, spas, saunas, bars, bowling alleys, rooftop swimming pools, and loads more, as much as we do.

Caribbean Resort & Villas
1. Caribbean Resort

Regardless of the water scenery you're chasing, you’ll find it between the various lazy rivers, oceanfront beach access, water slide, and pool deck. Spend the day outside riding the Pirate’s Plunge and playing cornhole on the fresh green before moving inside for a night full of arcade fun. Alternatively, book a massage at the Mist Spa and spend your evening by the outdoor fire pit with drinks from the Oceanfront Tiki Bar. With more than ten water activities plus the beach right outside of your door, you’ll never even have to leave your resort.

Monterey Bay Suites
2. Monterey Bay Suites

Every morning, wake up to a nice, hot, complimentary breakfast enjoyed buffet style with a selection of oatmeal, pastries, grits, gravy and biscuits, and more. Then, head to the onsite Starbucks for your daily caffeine intake. Monterey brings enjoyment year-round with its selection of indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Yet, you may want to save this spot for the summertime so you can enjoy its rooftop pool, which is one of the few in Myrtle Beach. Soak in the sun and skyline simultaneously before taking a dip in the ocean. For those traveling with children, Monterey has a large green space with picnic tables, cornhole, and a playground right alongside the beach.

North Beach Resort & Villas
3. North Beach Resort

In need of a relaxing getaway? From morning to night, plan your stay at North Beach Resort, taking full advantage of their amenities such as the swim-up pool bar and Cinzia Spa. Spend the afternoon at the Caribbean-themed pool complex ordering whatever your heart desires as you lounge in the rays, then indulge in a nice dinner at 21 Main Prime Steakhouse, which has been serving guests for several years. Then wrap up your evening with a trip to Cinzia, the 17,000-square-foot oasis where you can have a facial rejuvenation, massages, couples retreat, and more. This spa was recently voted the #1 Spa Along the Grand Strand for South Carolina by Women’s Magazine - so we’re sure that it won’t disappoint!

Captain's Quarters Oceanfront Resort Photo
4. Captains Quarters & Hotel Blue

Nothing screams vacation more than a sister resort! Bringing 15 different water amenities - Captains Quarters has whirlpools, mini waterparks, an island pool, lazy rivers, and everything in between. Swing in the sun on an outdoor hammock or spend an afternoon at the Vista 9 Fun Zone and Redemption Center which has a multitude of arcade games that can be operated with a single card instead of carrying around a pocket of coins.

Alternatively, stay at Hotel Blue which has South Carolina’s first swim-up pool bar and sun shelves that allow you to lay in the sun while still getting some of that much-needed cool down from the water. Each has its own onsite dining and if you stay at Hotel Blue, you’ll have double the fun by also being able to use the amenities at Captains Quarters!

Landmark Oceanfront Resort
5. Landmark Resort

Newly reimagined and opened for all guests is the H2Oasis waterpark with three 40-foot tall water slides! Spend your days outside on the slides or beach-side at one of the outdoor pools. Wherever you are, there are always chairs available to wind down and relax while the fun continues nonstop. Landmark even has its very own mascot, Salty the Shark, who makes appearances throughout the summer and takes photos with the kids so that everyone can remember their Myrtle Beach vacation. The resort also offers a video arcade room and various onsite dining spots including a cafe and restaurants.

Ocean Creek Resort
6. Ocean Creek

Physical activities don’t have to stop just because you’re on vacation! Whether you’re interested in playing competitively or just having a friendly match, Ocean Creek has a large variety of sports like tennis, pickleball, volleyball, putting green, bike and walking trails, and more right on its property. Once you get tired from spending hours of fun on the courts, unwind at one of the five pools or walk the 57-acre property until you end up at what feels like your own private beach. Explore the multitude of wildlife that the beach has to offer such as egrets, herons, or horseshoe crabs as they make their way through the shallow waters.

Coral Beach Resort & Suites
7. Coral Beach Resort

Coral Beach brings the fun straight to you with its expansive pool deck, entertainment complex, and onsite bars and eateries. Easily spend your days at the resort bowling or playing billiards while the kids run around the sunken submarine waterpark or jump from game to game in the arcade room located in the entertainment center. Then you can end your evenings poolside in the outdoor (or indoor!) jacuzzis after enjoying a meal from Oceans 6 Bar and Lounge or Sea Level restaurant.

Embassy Suites Oceanfront Resort at Kingston Resorts Photo 2
8. Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort at Hilton & Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort

There is nothing more refreshing than when you come home from vacation feeling (and looking) like a brand new person. Another sister hotel, the Embassy Suites, has an on-site salon, spa, sauna, and fitness center for all of its guests. So, once you’ve exhausted your stay by exploring the waterpark, sitting alongside one of the six fire pits every evening, and perfecting your golf swing, treat yourself to that much-needed relaxation night! The Suites also offer free breakfast and a complimentary evening reception for guests.

Have a similar experience at Hilton Resort by utilizing the property's large pool deck for sitting poolside at a cabana, spending an afternoon at the waterpark, booking a facial at the Spa33, or reserving one of their three golf simulators and outdoor putting green. A boardwalk or courtesy shuttle is also available that will take guests to explore Embassy Suites.

Dunes Village Resort
9. Dunes Village Resort

Don’t let cold weather put a damper on your plans! The Dunes Village offers a waterpark that is heated and fully enclosed from November to April. So, regardless of when you visit, the fun is always available. Kids will love this resort, where they can spend the day riding slides and playing volleyball right alongside the ocean. Once they have had their fair share of fun, you can book an appointment at the Lost in Serenity Spa and end the night at the Cabana Tiki Bar. There’s always enough fun and relaxation to go around for everyone.

Island Vista
10. Island Vista

Being the only resort within a mile, you will feel like the whole ocean belongs to you. Welcome to Island Vista, a place that will make you feel like you have stepped into a different country. Spend your vacation outside on the tanning deck where you can de-stress with a nice drink and book in hand. Then head to the oceanfront pools and hot tubs where you can take a break from the Southern sun. Island Vista has wonderful views of the ocean from The Cypress Room and Captain’s Lounge, which offer top-notch land and sea meals. What’s even more exciting is that you can book a spa treatment outside at a cabana, listen to the rolling waves as you get a massage, or have a personalized golf vacation tailored specifically to your needs and preferences so you can navigate the 100+ courses across the Grand Strand.

local's fav Marina Inn at Grande Dunes
11. Marina Inn at Grande Dunes

While it’s not an oceanfront resort, there are more things to do at the Marina Inn than you would think. Spend hours at the Inn’s indoor and outdoor pools while sipping on cocktails, or book a warm stone massage from the Coastal Spa. If you’re feeling more spunky and ambitious during your stay, try your hand at one of the numerous water activities available to you right outside your door. Rent a pontoon boat or jet ski where you might have the opportunity to catch sightings of dolphins alongside you in the water. On the other hand, spend a day on one of the Inn’s state-of-the-art tennis courts or explore the numerous walking and biking trails where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Grand Strand. Then, after all of that, you can take a private shuttle that will have you at the oceanfront in just ten minutes.
