Once a year, tourists and locals from around the Grand Strand swarm together in downtown Conway decked out in red, white, and blue, to celebrate our country. Riverfest is a celebration that was founded in 1980 that has since been held annually on the last Saturday of June. This years date is June 28th and it will have a full day of programming with live music at the Conway Riverwalk ampitheatre, numerous vendors selling local items and delicious foods, kids activities, and at the end of the night, a large fireworks display.
It will open with a ceremony giving homage to our country through the national anthem and a color guard presentation of the American flag. Then, it will follow suit with events such as a business expo, artisans market, golf cart parade, beer market, etc. In sum, it will be an entire day of festivities with a line up happening from the moment you wake up until the sun sets.

October
There is no time more charming to visit Conway than during the holiday seasons. In October, the beautiful Oak trees lining Main Street are decorated with small, vibrant, orange pumpkins on every branch. Many events take place throughout the town during this time such as ‘Witches, Wizards, and Wine’ on Oct. 2nd and 23rd where you and the gang can dress us and enjoy wine tastings while exploring the downtown area. Or, if you want something more spooky and historically based, opt for one of the Conway Ghost Walks from Oct. 15th - 18th.
